Once metal sludge stopped doing anything we were in need of a great news site that didn't take itself too seriously (we're looking at you blabbermouth). This site has up to the minute news on the world of metal and hard music. it'll make you smart and laugh. Steal their jokes and use them on your friends and soon you'll be the popular funny guy.
This is one of my favorite sites for news, reviews, upcoming releases, and tons of great posts about metal music. The writers all have a unique style and it's not the same crap everyday. They keep the site fresh with multiple entries throughout the day. Although I'm not always on the same page with their choice of what is good or bad, I almost always have a good time reading what they have to say.

THE source for Metal (and all sub-genre) news. Great section of new release dates. Expect sarcastically superb commentary on the state of metal, new releases, and the metal community at large.
