If, in fact, Tom Boonen blacks out when drinking, he does need help. Blacking out is an ipso facto sign of alcoholism; "normie" drinkers simply do not black out. Tom needs to contact a booze/drug counselor, the sooner the better: Alcoholism can be arrested, never cured: It never gets better without treatment.
