Shaq and Lebron...that'll be a very interesting combo. But I still say Cavs should go for Amare...he's younger and probably has more years in him left. Don't count out Shaq though...he can still be a significant factor for the Cavs if he's in shape and stays healthy in 2010.
Shaq wasn't much of a factor in Phoenix. But any decent big man combined with LeBron James will be dangerous. Shaq has a good 20 minutes in every game left in him, if he stays somewhat in shape. I agree that Amare is a better choice for the Cavs.
I think Shaq will make any team he goes to better. I'd rather have an old Shaq than a injury-prone Amare Stoudemire. Plus, Stoudemire is gone in 2010 when the Cavs will need to be putting everything into keeping LeBron. Shaq is perfect. He's there for 1 year, which should be enough to get Cleveland the championship they need to keep LeBron.
That being said, I hope the Rockets get him to back up Yao in place of the now retired Dikembe Mutombo
