Terminator would fair better on Wednesday night with Bones as a lead in and the only competition for eye balls being Lost. It would do a good job with the shares left over from viewers not watching Lost.

I remember when Terminator was on Mondays, and there was just too much going on to keep up with (My DVR had trouble keeping up as well). Even with big name shows like House and 24, Terminator was destined to struggle against NBC's youthful programming (Heroes and Chuck) and CBS's solid comedy line-up.

It seemed unfair when Terminator got relegated to Fridays (where TV goes to die). I think given another chance, the show could do well in another season or two. The big problem with the show, I expect, is that it is probably expensive to produce, and that will probably be the death of it. With cheap celebrity dance shows and Idol/Talent whatevers scoring well and costing little, it’s always going to be scripted TV with potential that will suffer.

Yea, sending it to Fridays was the kiss of death. I wonder if the network will take into consideration the number of people who watch the show on Hulu and the Fox site.

The Nielsen rating system is so out of touch with the current technology.

The problem with sending it to Fridays is that it has to compete with ABC's TGIF lineup. Sarah Conner is no match for Urkel or Bob Saget.

TGIF??? What year are you living in?

the problem with terminator:tscc was that the audience didnt know where it was going (besides the obvious - judgement day) AND neither did the show's producers. too many shows nowadays suffer from this Lost-syndrome, where they think uncertainty and curiosity alone will fuel ratings. and that has only rarely been the case
