LOLriokart: The Shopping Go-Kart

Called the LOLriokart, this creation took MIT student Charles Guan one year and $300 to build. It's powered by nickel-cadmium batteries and can reach speeds in excess of 25mph. Video after the break. Click here for first picture in gallery.

I did this as a kid but without the engine. That's hardcore right there. And slow, unless you go down a hill.

I learned long ago that if shopping kart wheels go too fast, they will fly off pretty violently when you need them most.
