2.5 million homes still haven't switched to digital TV for some reason Earlier this year, when we were going to switch to digital television in February, my sister sent me an e-mail and asked me if I was ready for the switch, and I thought to myself, I think I've been ready for several years. So I'm not quite sure why people are still having a problem switching from analog to digital (I'm especially confused when people say that older citizens use TV as their "lifeline" to the outside world - if you're using words like that, you really should switch or your... i think it's pretty reasonable to assume there are 2.5 million homes in the US where the people don't really watch tv and just do other stuff that interests them.

Okay, we've switched, now I'll give them one year to come up with all those cool gizmos that are supposed to take up the unused radio frequencies before I start complaining.

I recently started watching TV again after having no cable for months. Honestly, most shows now you can watch for free online so whats the point unless you're just one of those people that must watch shows in front of a TV instead of a computer.

Yep, Sensico. A Netflix subscription helps supplement one's entertainment as well. I actually haven't watched (by that I mean subscribed to) cable for a couple years now.
