Yea, I cried when they killed off his character on House. He was my fave of House's three underlings. I thought he had this White House gig all set up and that's why his departure from the show was so fast.
I'm willing to bet this is a non-story. He may have worked for the campaign, but working for the White House requires a pretty elaborate security clearance that can take months.
House is probably going to be stupid next season. This season ended well, but where could they possible go from here? I think Kal Penn jumped ship just in time.
