I read this story in the Washington Post and instantly questioned our district's definition of "successful".  We say we are successful if we get a student to graduate and go onto college or the trade of their choice.   Is successful merely finishing, giving them the tools to have them start, or having the opportunity to use the skills (and get paid for it)?
