... I've heard good about both. It seems that the tamron is a bit more highly favored of the two. But the tamron also seems to have some mechanical issues. The sigma is also pretty big with an 82mm filter size. I'm not sure if my Lindahl EFX lens shade will work with it. Oh yes, APC-C sensor in a studio flash environment. Shooting High school seniors.
