Well today is your lucky day after the Mayor AC Wharton from Memphis, TN made some big changes in town. With the firing of Ernest Alexander who was the Director at the shelter.
I like the Mayors ... care while they are waiting to find their new home.

It’s been about two weeks since the Memphis Animal Shelter was raided after horrific animal cruelty was discovered there, what’s happened in the interim? We know the Mayor AC Wharton formed a task force to oversee the shelter and that video cameras were installed in some of the shelter areas.

Today AC Wharton signed an executive order that will promote a more open form of government where public records and government officials salaries would be available for public viewing.
I would like to add to that list. How about we make certain public projects available online so that people can track the progress of that specific project.

Mayor AC yammers on about crime in the usual manner we expect from Memphis. But the last paragraph I found interesting:
Wharton mentioned the formation of what are known as “community councils.” He hopes state lawmakers can help create a gun offender registry and even a special court for gun crimes.
