I had an AOPA/AIG quote three years ago when I first bought the airplane. The quote was high (over $2000. per year) as my son at the time had less than 100 hours with 15 complex/HP. Mindy got me the same policy from AIG for $1500. Today with his 650 hours its less than $900.00 annually. I still belong to AOPA but I'm not interested in their insurance bargain.
