BOLLOCKS INDEED!
You sure know how to set the right tone for your participation in any discussion, totally appropriate for your comments on the topic.
This has been my worst weekend in memory, I feel devastated by the response to my recent post, I thought that I was amongst friends here but the manner in which some of you chose to pile on the invective has revealed an aspect of your natures that ...

The Metro follows up yesterday's bollocks-related stories with this:
The officer has compiled a report into the use of mephedrone across the Durham force area and part of his research has focused on online forums.
The report states: 'A large number of contributors state how addictive mephedrone is and they are constantly topping up as one individual states that after using it for 18 ...

... back to the priest that things started to calm down.
So what does all this mean? Have I been completely wrong about collaborative ministry all these years? Should the laity be told what to do by the clergy for their own good?
I don't like these questions and I really hate the apparent answers to them.
What the heck do you do when the theory turns out to be bollocks?
Your comments please.

New art release – ‘The Dog’s Bollocks’
This one was inspired by a recent trip back home to London. I was digging around my photos from the trip, and ideas started to flow. ‘The Dog’s Bollocks‘ is the result. Quite a lot of personal meaning in some of the text and images used in this one. I could explain it, ...

Italy's foreign minister is something of a prat. Calling for a new European army, he says;
It was a "necessary objective to have a European army", Mr Frattini said. "Take Afghanistan: at present President Obama asks Poland, or Italy, or Great Britain for more troops. If there were a European army, he would have a 'toolbox' to draw from. He might need 30 aeroplanes ...

HAT TIP TO THE ANGLO SAXON CHRONICLE AND DANIEL1979 BLOG
This is all becoming rather explosive and the wagons are circling in the Great Global Warming Swindle - they have been well and truly caught out and they know it - and what with the guys who are trawling through the hacked E-mails doing such a great job, there is much more yet to be revealed!
I left a comment a few days ago on a BBC ...

The report for the Marriage Equality Amendment Bill 2009 has been released today.
The link to the report is here:
Even though over 11,000 submissions were in support of the marriage definition changing to include same-sex couples, the committee has rejected the proposal.
The reasons cited are primarily religious-based as you will see if you read the report.
So, we continue to be treated as ...

I ended it. It's over. The switch in my brain said you can't continue going this way. To keep giving everything and still not getting anywhere closer, even though realistically, he was doing what's real. Arm's length. B/c in 3 months he's gone. So really what is this business? Except to just be casual and this is case #2 where I've deluded myself into thinking I can change ...

Lindstrom & Solale – Baby I Can’t Stop (Aeroplane Remix)
As the previous 8 month old post attests to, everything has been changing in 2009. Mark is making a name for himself selling fancy gingham from Sri Lanka, Chris is about to embark on the next chapter of whatever the hell he’s planning, and I’ve been doing the rounds in London Town (or sitting in and watching US ...

'Wellington could be more like Venice by 2100
Emily Watt
If you want to go to the library, you'll get your feet wet, Wellington police will need boats to get to work, and parts of Customhouse Quay might get a bit soggy.
Wellington City Council has issued a graphic to show how rising sea levels would affect the capital.
"It's important to remember that, for areas such as the CBD, ...

GAGA!
(And some other people, at some other point, I think)
Olly Murs : There’s a certain syndrome that happens with these shows. You start off liking someone, the public like the same person. It’s sweet, because normally I’m quite at odds with the public vote. But then, either the public like different aspects of the performer than you do, or at least, the producers/ ...

Why don't they write all razor adverts the same way?
A woman bounces out of bed, leaving Her Man tousled in the sheets behind her. She kicks a football across the room and leaps athletically into the chrome and brown-tone bathroom, where she covers herself in shaving foam and grabs her Gillette Fusion and flips it expertly around to an inspiring and go-getting rock soundtrack.
For the ...
