The last 3 nights have been disrupted by our normally delightful and cooperative baby morphing into a screecher! Our normal routine has been that she begins to get sleepy between 6:15-6:45pm and as soon as she shows the signs, I take her up for bath, nursing and bedtime. Hey all,
I have only posted here a couple of times, but I am a long time lurker.
My seventeen year-old quarter horse (who thinks shes an Arab) mare colicked this morning. Badly.
She was taken to Purdue Vet hospital and is still in surgery. They are removing about 3 feet of small intestine, which includes her entire illieum (sp?). The chances of her making it home are about 60-70%.
