Evidence last Thursday (12/11) suggested another Collared Dove had been taken but the Dove count on Saturday in the rain was up to a new high of 38. Above pic is a collared dove in our garden about a month ago, say mid October, we see this bird ... and I bet horrible to experience. I shooed the hawk away (not sure if right thing to do) and a minute later the dove was motionless dead. Not my favourite part of wild nature.
