The idea of the X-Men and Avengers ... never buy an Avengers #369 today... but I did then and it could have turned out to be a good comic. I was willing to give it a chance to prove itself then. And, by sheer coincidence as I was looking for links for this post, I learned that JJ Abrams might plan a movie based on the toys. (I also learned even more that I cared to know about them, like they were foisted on kids again in 2002-2003, and were the subjects of comic books for 30 years. My fandom was rather limited, thank goodness.)
