... Green Mountains are neither green nor white, except perhaps at the very top edges of Mount Mansfield and Camel's Hump, where they are sprinkled like sugar by a hand from above. Snow, I think would be welcome because it etches the trees in sharp black and white.
Am I projecting too much of my mood on the landscape, I ask myself?
Is it really the disconcerting health care debate that ...

My little experiment in lifestreaming seems to have failed. The FriendFeed plugin I was using was mostly fine, but the date never did work, making it look like I was only ever active on the internets on Wednesdays at 15:45. An annoyance that I was willing to overlook for a few months, but then it just got to me. SO, this iteration uses FlickrRSS, this Twitter widget plugin, and Last.fm for ...

... particles of all that which is within, abstract, non-verbal, human, organic, a grunt of inner worlds.
Lines drawn onto a paper, onto a screen, words are but squiggles of symbols, nothing more than etches of the rich worlds that inhabit these thinking vessels that walk about, melting into their surroundings even as they believe they remain eternally separate.

If you do not write your goals down, they will merely be wishes. Something magical happens when you put pen to paper, your writing etches its way into your subconscious. I have found that writing by hand is more powerful than on a computer, just as with any learning.
3. Make it time bound
Make your goals time bound by setting deadlines ...

... Nguyen Manh Tuan, is wrapped up in his work, filing down an ancient coin-shaped earring with a needle-thin tool. The young man slowly moves the jewellery in his hand as he gently etches away zigzag patterns with the thin awl.
Having tried different jobs like bartender and tour guide, Tuan finally decided to follow his father’s profession two years ago.

... to the next
Without an oasis in sight
A place to lie down for just one night
Suspended in oblivion
A vapor to be whispered but never seen
Wiped away from the chalkboards of time
And mind
The wind etches time on innocent faces
Carving out the maps of paths chosen
Broken lines of those untaken
Those now lost forever to us
A storm is building from ancient times
Cursing the future with drought

... I said, "Heavenly Father, you've already given me 3 things I've asked for tonight, but can I please have one more?" I really needed the burnt on sugar to come off- I think it actually etches into the glass. And with a little elbow grease and a lot of inspiration I got it clean and it's all good. I seriously feel blessed on that because otherwise we would have probably had to ...

From the moments “The Road†opens on a gorgeous spring day in all its efflorescent glory in a neighborhood signally blessed by God, and then all quickly turns and transports the audience to the grim, explosive awakening of an alternative world roiling in pain, this minimalist masterpiece etches a residual tattoo on the heart.

... news only made us want to be there more. To share a clear message of peace and offer another solution other than violence and revenge and hatred.
God etches within us a character so that we can be an answer to those who are being oppressed and even to those who are the oppressors. If you are a doctor, you find what is causing the illness and target it, you do not just offer sympathy to the dying ...
