CARTER THE PRESS DEMOCRAT Advocates for feral cats are hoping to convince Petaluma City Council members to reconsider an ordinance meant to improve management of wild cat colonies within the city. The council signaled approval of the ordinance earlier this month on a 6-1 vote and is scheduled to finalize its adoption Monday.

Vangordon's letter to Fujioka did not allow control of fleas and feces as an abatement measure, only that the cats had to be trapped and killed. However, this was just received as the County's official policy.
I think no one in the animal community trusts that they limit themselves to this.
