I went in hoping against hope it was a hidden comedy gem, but if Gentlemen Broncos is misunderstood, I have to count myself among the ignorant. Moments of hilarity are scattered ... "Gentlemen Broncos" is about the fantasies of a 15 year old boy and it has some of the charm but all of the failings of those stories. The charm is its unguarded purity of emotion and unchecked enthusiasm for its powers of imagination. The failings are all of that plus the resulting incoherence and absence of insight.

I watch this over and over again, day after day, and still, for some reason, find it absolutely hilarious. It is related to the new Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) film Gentlemen Broncos. The movie is just as weird as the cartoon. Please see both.
