A 49-year-old Walnut Creek man has died after his boat capsized off the coast of Half Moon Bay yesterday afternoon.
Matthew Runte, along with another man were both pulled from the water shortly after the boat overturned, but Runte was pronounced dead a few minutes later at a local hospital.
According to the Coast Guard, Runte wasn't wearing a life jacket.
