I left to take Haley to the dentist and Cash helped Andy take apart the speaker because there was a weird rattling noise. The picture shows all the treasures found inside that speaker! That plastic egg has actually traveled quite a distance...it used to reside and Grandma Connie's house and it made it all the way to our house and jumped inside the speaker along with that flashlight! When that door swung shut it closed on the unpredictability of my youth, on bits and pieces of my headstrong nature, and on tragic mistakes for which I must take the bitter pill of responsibility. While those first chances are lost, the door that has openned in their place has revealed so many treasures I never knew to request. Unknown pearls.
