Last Tuesday, November 17, we took the Solid Rock 1971 Mustang Mach I to the Technology Center of DuPage County for a display along with the Illinois Patrol 79 Dodge Omni of Sargeant Mike Johnstone of the Bolingbrook, Il. Police department. Mike's car is part of the Beat the Heat program.

Last weekend, Cynthia and I had the pleasure of attending the annual conference of the Illinois chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators (SCBWI), which had invited Cynthia to be a keynote speaker.
