Making Japanese curry is ridiculously easy. Get some chicken (or different kind of meat if you like), add that, onions and carrots to boiling water. Finally, add the curry paste/block you can buy at the Japanese supermarket. Stir till it thickens. Simmer and serve.Â

Japanese curry is not our typical Malaysian curry. It's more like gravy and damn it's delicious.
I love curry; be it Malaysia style, Indian style or Japanese style. Its the heaven-liest(?) food!
Not to mention its strong and fragrant flavours. You could express curry in so many words and it still wont be enough (ok.. I am probably exaggerating)....

I love Japanese curry. It's a really nice soothing flavour. I also love the creamy sauce contrasting with the crispy fried chicken when you buy it. ... to improvise. We had some Ingham pre-coated chicken pieces in the freezer. I cooked them in the oven and let them get nice and crisp and then served that over rice and added the Japanese curry sauce. It was as good as when you buy it. Yum.
