Chan Yih-shin of Taiwan fired an 8-under-par 64 to take the opening round lead Thursday in the inaugural King's Cup, the last tournament of this year's Asian Tour. The 32-year-old Chan shot nine birdies against one bogey to grab a two-shot advantage over rising 22-year-old Indian star Anirban Lahi at the 7,546-yard Khon Kaen Golf Club course.
