Mauer is pretty awesome, our guys finished far back at second and third place. By the way, I think I recall that  our SS and 1B are World Champions. Read something about that.
Teixeira has a ring, and the last picture I saw of Jeter he was on a beach with Minka. Hope they can endure their MVP also-ran disappointment.

NEW YORK -- Joe Mauer became only the second catcher in 33 years to win the American League Most Valuable Player Award, finishing first in a near-unanimous vote Monday.
