What is the legality of using action figures of copyrighted characters for stop motion? I ask this because a scholarship contest asks for a video, but it says I can't use copyrighted material. Would manipulating copyrighted characters be considered using copyrighted material? Or would the manipulation of them be what I'm "selling" so to speak?
