Last weekend I ran 12 miles of run 10 minutes/walk 1. About 8.5 ... my mind.
It got me thinking. Should ipods be worn on the long run if the race doesn't allow them? (I'm leaning no but I seem to use my ipod ... time to think of this as my training runs for the Disney Marathon are getting long by anyone's definition. I hope there will be some time soon when I will look back ...

Pace ended up being much better than I though it would be, but about 10 seconds/mile slower ... space before the race.

This morning was the last long run of my taper - and the last long run before next week's New York Marathon. Whoa! ... mile on the course, but if I have my belt then I can drink when I want to.
It was a great morning to run - clear skies and temperatures in the upper 40s. ... wanted it to be - my average HR on this morning's run was 153...I would like it to be under 150 for the first 10-13 miles ...
