In Tibetan areas, you'll run across more than a few Tibetan mastiffs. Most of the time, they're mutts, like this one, around the size of a black lab:

Two enormous, very sweet and friendly dogs are lost and currently waiting for their owner to call. Neither has tags and they were wandering in Newman Park.
They are both mastiffs - probably 135 to 150 pounds each with big block heads.

... - the dog identified in the photo as Hercules is a Neopolitan Mastiff, not an English Mastiff. While Neopolitan Mastiffs are very big dogs, they are not as large English Mastiffs.
