My very opinionated Isabelle has been affectionately been called 'Bella' or 'Belle' her entire life.
Last week she informed me she no longer wants to be called these endearing nicknames. She wants to be called Isabelle or 'Izzy.'
And now every time one of us slips and calls her 'Bella' or 'Belle' she says,
"You are supposed to say, 'Sorry, I ...

My little baby is getting very particular about his wants, especially when it comes to his clothes. Every morning when I get him dressed, he points to the closet and says, "Want doggie!" He only has one doggie shirt, and no he can't wear it every day. When I put something else on him, it usually results in a few tears. What about all the rest of the cute stuff he has in there??? ...

newVideoPlayer("/leviA111009_jez_512K.flv", 500, 373,""); Last night Levi appeared on The Insider, where people in Times Square got to "grill" him by asking him about his love life. It seems like he's looking for a woman who is the opposite of his baby grandmama.

The Opinionated Knitter by Elizabeth Zimmerman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I borrowed this book, but I'm tempted to buy a copy to keep. The patterns are very good, and EZ's writing is a lot of fun. Once I'm done with Winter Holiday Knitting, I want to make a Baby Surprise Jacket - it's just too odd a thing to miss :)
EZ takes a very three-dimensional approach to knitting. If ...

Bernie the glass frog bead on a green leather necklace
I had fun touring around Tel Aviv the other day. My feet got tired pretty quickly but it was fun to walk around alone. So many faces and places and sounds and smells. And in the cooler weather, this was fun. I found my way to Gil Raphael which is the main glass supply store here in Israel. It was a thrill to ...

Okay, I guess I'm gonna have to put in my two cents about the whole 'Ms. Horror Blogosphere' controversy. Though to me, there really isn't a controversy. Pretty-Scary.net (a site which I happen to actually like) felt it necessary to put up a classic bitch-fest post about how sexist the competition is. Seriously? This from someone who runs a "Scary Studs" contest. I'm ...

I know it's been a while between posts, but to be fair (to me...lol), my desktop died a few weeks ago, and in between ordering to trying out various parts, realising there was a D.N.R on the system, and ordering a new one (which will only be delivered around Christmas), I have been slightly impeded.
At the moment I'm coming to you from a laptop which has none of my pics or scrappy stuff, ...
