I had this whole post about Anna and her pug Heinz and why he looks so weirded out, it was even kind of funny. Then I don’t know what happened but it didn’t get saved and I figure it’s probably for the best. I’m sure the older draft is going to pop up after I post this one but I figure Anna is beautiful enough to be posted without further rambling by me.

... to let it out the gate only to be squashed on the busy road we live next to. The girl on the end of the phone said that echidnas have a very strong sense of where their home is, the burrow and its puggles (baby echidnas). She said they just leave echidnas to their own devices to get home rather than "rescue" them and move them, and that it would be fine.
So I opened the gate and after a ...

Uh. No idea, actually. *headskritch*

These little critters, known as puggles when they babies, are notoriously hard to breed, but the Perth Zoo in Australia has managed to successfully breed them three years in a row. The zoo thinks it’s now ready to start working on a reproduction program for their critically endangered cousins, the long-beaked echidna of New Guinea.

... make a mistake or make a bad choice, in fact most of the time you sit quietly waiting for the timer to go off. You LOVE your sister and play together all day everyday! You were old enough to sign up for Puggles this year and can't wait until Wednesday night! You are a very free spirit and an independent thinker and will try just about anything once. This may be an issue as you grow up but I ...
