Did you notice how it doesn't say that the boogie man didn't exist? Where did we get that idea? Spooky stuff does exist people. Ummm... his name is Satan, and he does have demons. But God is bigger than them!!! We just have to claim the blood of Jesus and tell Satan to leave you alone, and he will! :)
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you ...

... with him. LOL
The rest of the day is a bit fuzzy birthday wise as both girls are off to their first class at Polytech tonight. We managed to get Alexia into the last place in one of Rebeccas classes – been about 5 years since they were both in the same classroom at the same time. LOL. Will probably go out for some supper after the class finishes and she still wants to do something with ...

So now she has been asking me if she can go to becks for a daytime date, or just stay at becks all night.

Ok, so it was 2 months ago. I'm playing catch-up.
The weekend prior to Rebecca's birthday we threw her a birthday party for her daycare friends. My mom won the use of her old apartment complex clubhouse and kindly gave it to us for the party. Rebecca requested chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting (that's my girl!) and pizza. She had such a great time!
She looks like she' ...

... it, you end up with say, San Simeon that living monument to gigantism built by William Randolph Heart in California.
"Mrs. Gardner built this for Rebecca" I thought "And all the Rebeccas yet to come".
***
The collection is varied and fairly crammed into the old Gardner Family mansion, almost none of it is tagged or explained in any way. I felt myself fortunate to identify a ...

I've been meaning to try this recipe for months but since I have no use for a Velveeta loaf, I couldn't justify the $5 price tag associated with it. Thankfully the Superbowl had that box of chemicals marked down so I didn't feel too bad about buying it. I've also attached a PDF of the recipe, courtesy of Weight Watchers of course, so feel free and print it!
Ingredients:
2 tsp. ...

This is a guest blog by my granddaughter Rebecca Stewart, 12.
I have always had a great passion for fashion. I find that fashion is like art, your clothes are the canvas, and the accessories are the paint which is the finishing touch for a great piece of art.
This first picture is one my favorite pictures because it reminds me of the picture of Gemma Ward in my Teen Vogue handbook that I ...

I thought of this song tonight when Rebecca (one of the many MommyLife Rebeccas) emailed me that after a couple years of reading my blog, she wanted to call it quits because she found my recent postings too "mean-spirited."
I sometimes wonder if people were privy to the attacks messengers like me suffer from the secular world - would they be so judgmental and so unkind themselves? ...

Thanks Lori Mathis for sharing this photo and story: "For many years Pedro sat in my Grandmother Ruth's yard at the Desert Sea Rancho's on the northeastern bluff above the Salton Sea. Growing up my Grandmother and I were very close, I spent many weekends with her after my Grandfather died, and then also when she remarried and moved out to the desert. When my Grandmother left her ...

My little angel.
I love this one of Rebecca's eyes! It's the best picture I've seen that captures what I get to see each time she looks up at me.
This dress was made by my mother-in-law and has been used as the blessing dress for each of her daughters and grand-daughters.
I love those chubby cheeks.
Ready to say a prayer.
