Alexis at My Mama Made It is so talented and I absolutely love seeing what she creates out of old shirts and thrift store finds. I spent three hours at her house on Saturday and made two ...

Last week, Leethal posted a how-to make them out of old socks and you can also make them from the sleeves of old jumpers/sweaters/long-sleeved tops.

I used some of the leftover fabric to make some little roses ...

I think I may be somewhat obsessed with the refashioning thing now, and with sewing in general. It's my creative escape since all my other avenues have fallen by the wayside.
For anyone who is interested, I am having a couple ...

My new house is a beehive of activity, a busy kibbutz.
With the conviction of an ardent Zionist, I'm refashioning the landscape to my taste, and ensuring the complete obliteration of all traces of the house's previous inhabitants.
Of the many renovations, I'm having the two bathrooms completely demolished and redone with ceramic tiles, glass mosaics, and fixtures worthy of a Manhattan ...

... which much of these actions have been brought about; the destruction of the current prevailing paradigm of Western society. The Marxists know, while the old order still stands, they have no hope of refashioning man in their own image. No, the old order must go, and must go in a way and means as to preclude any possibility of its return at some future point.
Look around you, what do you see ... ...
