... to jet off to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the weekend to cover the University of Alabama Crimson Tide take on their bitter rivals – the University of Tennessee Volunteers. It got even better. I didn’t need to cover every-down, game action – just wander the stadium making pictures of what a true megafootball college program is all about.

I'm really into this Alabama football thing. Jason laughs at me cause I know nothing about the team. I just don't care for UT, and I love to say: ROLL TIDE!! Not to mention, the color scheme is way cuter than orange and white.
I think I may get a flag for the outside of my house.

... I would like to say that with Alabama's win over LSU yesterday, "I ain't never been nothin' but a winner... in regular season." Roll Tide! Joshua has mastered a new trick. He is a pro at climbing over the ottoman (one of the barriers we used to separate the play area from the rest of the house. I left Joshua in ...

The only deficit I care about right now is that the Crimson Tide trails LSU at halftime, 7-3. Greg McElroy overthrew what would have been a touchdown pass. Then, as the clocked ticked down toward the half, on first-and-10 in LSU territory, McElroy got panicked by a blitz and threw an interception.
Further such failures should not be permitted. In the second half, McElroy's job should consist ...

Last weekend I was able to take a trip down to Alabama for the Alabama vs LSU game. It was pretty cool to see how different college football is in the south. I went with a big group of people from Jackson Hole, WY and a few of my friends from here in Provo.
The trip was pretty quick and there was a lot of travel time, but being at the game was really something. It was awesome to see how big of ...

... at 8 p.m. A quick news nugget on PC's Marshon Brooks. He is warming up and moving well as his recovery from a twisted ankle in last Sunday's win over Mercer progresses.
Brooks is swishing 3-pointers as we speak and seems to be coming down on his ankle with no noticeable pain. He did miss four days of practice, however, so we'll see how much energy he has against the Crimson Tide.
