Well the bag lead to some inspiration to keep sewing. Do you get like that? Start one sewing project and then that snowballs into more so sewing becomes the obsessive activity for a while before something else catches your attention and you switch to that.

I love browsing through vintage sewing books when I have time. These books are very inspirational. I think my favourites are the 'Fashion bead embroidery' book and the 'DMC drawn thread' book. The latter book could be used as cross stitch patterns as well as drawn thread work.
