This past Wednesday afternoon the Student Government Association quickly held a Senate meeting resulting in three tabled items, two of which request part of the remaining $131 from a $6,000 bill allocations fund.
"All SGA Senators and executive members were able to attend the rock-paper-scissors competition before our meeting today," SGA President Zach Mullins said.

Tuesday, November 17th
At the past SGA meeting, Margarida Vieira, Gary Boothby, and Jack Murphy spoke to the SGA. Vieira and Boothby spoke on food services and Murphy spoke on the bookstore. According to Murphy, the bookstore is currently looking for book orders from faculty for the next semester, which would enable students to sell books back for 50 percent of the sale price.

Dr. Nesbitt is coming next week to the SGA meeting to answer/discuss student's questions. Some of the question/topics SGA brainstormed were: music building expansion, expanding the foreign language (lab), food service, clinic, daycare, red rabbit (bus stop on campus), credit transfer, 4-year-degree program, work study (jobs on campus) and the parking lot.

The spring budgeting session for RSOs is almost over. The Student Government Association (SGA) is scheduled to vet and vote upon the Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) requested Spring 2010 budgets this Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Fielding Room. Over the past month these budgets were submitted by the RSOs, cut by the SGA's financial committees and then returned to the organizations.
