When we took a weekend trip to Bacolod, we commuted to Silay to explore two ancestral houses: Bernardino-Ysabel Jalandoni Ancestral House and Victor Fernandez Gaston Ancestral House, a.k.a., Balay Nigrense. One of the ancestral houses claims to have a Stradivarius violin in its possession, the other, the first-ever bicycle to roam the streets of Silay.

I was really amazed seeing that some of the beautiful places in Negros were featured in a tourist magazine. Among them are some of the old houses, Silay City and Nature Village in Talisay. I last visited Natures Village more than seven years ago when the place was just operating. That’s why I am so excited to see how it is now. I am so excited to see new beautiful places, new resorts and hotels ...
