... to sum up the style of tunes that I DIG.
A band that I recently became infatuated with is Pensive. They are such an underrated band, it's insane. They melodic rock. I keep listening to their ... cd in the car, the old one is pretty good too(as i found out).
Check Pensive on MySpace, i cant post a link unfortunately...
...What is your latest music obsession? I love hearing new bands ...

... ;If you're far from God right now," the pastor concluded, "run to him, into his arms. He's waiting to receive you."
This is a wonderful message, and I concur wholeheartedly. But it still made me go "Hmmm" in a pensive tone. What are the chances, I couldn't help but wonder, that someone far from God right now would be listening to a Christian music station?

Today's one of those days when I just feel like spending my leisure afternoon away on a slow and emo pensive bus ride home (yes Kriz, I took a bus home in the end!). I like weekday afternoons like these, free from noisy and pushy crowds. Of course, there's still the office crowd around. But looking at them makes me feel lucky to be free from work on a weekday. On the other hand, I also ...

It is the beginning of the weekend and I managed to wake up without a hangover (the key is staying hydrate. Drink 1 cup water for every 2 drinks you have). I wasn’t the first one up but I was one of the first few. Today, for some reason I am feeling as if my mind were everywhere but here. It seems to be a thousand miles away, wishing I were with othe people I love and adore. I feel like my ...

Quick trip up to the Cities was another whirlwind, but this one was less exhausting and refreshing. I would delve into specifics, but I'm exhausted and trying to refocus my attitude for tech rehearsals. I think this is going to be one of the more draining ones that I've ever been a part of.
And bad attitudes and high tensions are extremely infectious. It's already starting, and we ...

I came across this blog – it’s too good not to share. The stories that she shares will leave you in tears and occasionally laughter, but more often than not, tears; and above all, a deeper appreciation for life and the things around you. Most of all, it makes you think. This latest post is particularly moving.

More fallish out there now - grey, rainy and cool. Perhaps those magical days of bright sun are gone for a few months, or perhaps we can squeeze in a few more ... let's hope. There's a huge, magnificent bird hanging around my yard these days, a falcon or a hawk - I watched him yesterday cleaning his long tail feathers. No wonder the sparrows are squawking more than usual during their dawn ...

Things are getting rough 'round these parts. This is what Honey found today when he heard KB calling, "Daddy - I tuck". Ten minutes later she had climbed into her baby bed and broke the bottom out of it. You notice there is no picture of that. . . the parents were NOT amused. Next you will see what may look quite innocent:
I am so sick and tired of that duvet ending up on the ...

this sem has been less-xiong than before but it was also not short of its struggles and significance.
after everything, emotions elude me. inherently, they are functions that keep the self going; but i do not want to use them to judge or evaluate. perhaps because it would also be too excruciating that way- emotional emotions-

This guy has been at the bottom of the queue for a while - just because of the photo's label. It's another outdoor shower picture. Showering outdoors in the open is one of those things that I find endlessly sexy. I like that he's a normal guy. He's totally an average Joe. He could be your neighbor or your friend's father. Or you.

Right now I have reached a state of depression so severe that it feels like a parody of those Zoloft commercials--you know, the sepia-tinted montages of people staring at blank walls while a narrator helpfully points out how much their lives suck. I spent three solid hours crying during rehearsal (mostly over the same old "I want a boyfriend" crap), then went out shopping for groceries, ...

Dick Tracy, 12/2/09
So it turns out that one of my earlier assumptions — that Dick’s reference to “long hair stuff” meant that he and his wife would be attending one of those subversive rock and roll shows, put on by some damn hippie band — was off by several centuries. It turns out, intriguingly enough, that up until the 1960s “long-hair music” ...

The Daily Collegian:
Penn State is conducting an inquiry into the controversy surrounding a Penn State professor whose illegally leaked e-mails have sparked an international debate over whether he and his colleagues distorted data on global warming.
The inquiry will determine if further investigation is warranted, a university spokeswoman said Sunday.
