I ended up setting all of our wishlists to private, an action that took some time and effort as each list had to be set ...

Like it or not (I’m still torn between the two), Christmas is definitely peeking in it’s head – Â chilly mornings, Christmas carols, and cheeky hints on wishlists from the kiddos!
Nate is crazy over Ben 10 and his aliens. He has this fantasy that he is – no not Ben, but -Â Humongousaur! Last Sunday, I got him a tiny fifty-peso Humongousaur toy from one of those token ...

I think this is a GREAT idea when it comes to gift giving anytime of the year. Isn’t it nice when you can buy something for someone that they really want, not what you think they might want?  Here is something that can help: A new social shopping site called Wishpot. This revolutionary, free of charge wish list service is quite genius as it lets users add, save and share lists of ...

Christmas presents and me have always had a love-hate relationship. Most years I can remember, siblings would ask what I wanted for Christmas, and I would tell my family "don't bother getting me anything, cuz I'm not getting you anything!" and just wish to be done with it. Invariably, my sisters would tell me that they are getting me something anyway, and December 22nd or 23rd ...

... as sparkly vampires" or "the Beatles as My Little Ponies". I... I'm sorry!
Many of these items are now on my Amazon wishlist (updated for the first time since 2006!)
Please point me towards any wishlists you might have, on LJ or elsewhere! I cannot promise you that your wish will not be granted in some HIDEOUSLY IRONIC OR INAPPROPRIATE FASHION, a la Monkey's Paw.

It's December, meaning I like to discuss and analyze the concept of sharing and maintaining wish lists, as we approach the Christmas holiday.
In the past, I've shared some wishlist tips, and discussed Amazon's "universal wishlist" feature.
Today I'm eager to discuss arbitrary wish lists, and how we should revert back to sharing these types of lists, instead of ...

The year end is approaching, in just a few short days, so like other bloggers, I’ll be posting a few year end count downs. (Here are my 2008 top versions)

So, Tizzy was bugging me for a wishlist on pain of receiving SOMETHING WORSE THAN TWILIGHT (It's coming, Tzi, I SWEAR) and I had a thought.
You know what I want? An anti-wish list. Of things I have but want other people to ask for so I'm not the only one squeeing over Obscure YA Series No 23. Because my plan of creating a fandom by sending the books out ONE PERSON AT A TIME goes kinda ...

Okay, so it's that time of year, and I am rewriting my Christmas book wish list for friends and family and stuff. I never really want anything but books, I read too much for my own good. So, my question is: Bookish, what is on your Christmas book wish list? or what books do you think everyone should read at least once?
I'd really appreciate feedback and suggestions, I'll read ...

I've been updating my boardgame wishlist, adding in links to the MilSims pages for those games that are available, and putting OOP/not out yet on the games that aren't. With a few of the games that are available, I can see very much why I haven't got them yet. Middle Earth Quest, a game that sounds like a lot of fun, is currently aus$121.50 - and that's discounted!
The RPG ...
